Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during my eye exam?

Every exam at Miller Vision Center includes a series of tests tailored to your age, history, and any concerns you're coming in with, including a vision assessment, visual field testing, an eye pressure screening, and a retinal evaluation.

After the exam, Dr. Miller will walk you through exactly what he found—clearly, without rushing—and give you honest, practical recommendations. If further care is needed, he'll refer you to the right specialist and make sure you understand every next step.

How often do I need an eye exam?

We recommend our patients visit us every 1–2 years. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, you should see an eye doctor at least once a year. You may also need annual exams, or more frequent visits, if you have certain risk factors, such as a family history of eye diseases or underlying health conditions. Dr. Miller can recommend a schedule based on your family's specific needs.
